Bogdan works in the area of Computational Linguistics and has published papers on evaluating and improving the quality of Machine Translation (MT) with Information Extraction techniques, extracting translation equivalents from non-parallel corpora, comparability measures, phraseology and multiword expressions, MT for under-resourced languages, hybrid MT, computational models of morphosyntax, MT for Slavonic languages, using MT for supporting language learning and authoring in non-native language.
